Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 22, 2026  ·  Last Revised: June 22, 2026
Applies to: financiario.com and all Financiario platform services operated by Financiario LLC

01 Who We Are

Financiario LLC is a California limited liability company operating financiario.com and the Financiario platform (collectively, the "Platform"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information and financial data from visitors, subscribers, and users of the Platform.

For California residents, Financiario LLC is a "Business" under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). For individuals in GDPR jurisdictions, Financiario LLC is the data controller for personal information collected from you while you were in those jurisdictions.

02 Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

We collect personal information you voluntarily provide when you:

  • Create an account or subscribe to the Platform — name, email address, company name, and billing address;
  • Purchase a subscription — payment card details processed by Stripe (we do not store full card numbers; see Section 8);
  • Submit a contact, demo, or inquiry form — name, email, company name, and any details you include;
  • Subscribe to newsletter or email communications — name and email address;
  • Communicate with our team by email or through the platform.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit or use the Platform, we and our service providers automatically collect:

  • Device and browser information (IP address, operating system, browser type and version);
  • Usage data (pages visited, features accessed, time spent, referring URLs, click patterns);
  • Session and log data;
  • Cookie and tracking data (see Section 6 below);
  • Approximate geolocation data (city/region level) derived from IP address.

03 Financial Data

Financiario is a financial intelligence platform. In addition to standard personal information, we process Subscriber financial data — including general ledger exports, trial balances, chart of accounts, and accounting records — solely to deliver the platform services described in the Subscriber Agreement.

3.1 What Financial Data We Process

Subscribers provide access to their accounting data through one or more of the following methods: secure CSV upload of general ledger or trial balance exports; direct API connection to QuickBooks Online or Xero; or SQL connection where available. This data may include transaction records, account balances, financial statement components, payroll figures, and related accounting entries.

3.2 How We Use Financial Data

Financial data is used exclusively to:

  • Build and maintain the Subscriber's connected financial model and dashboards;
  • Generate automated financial intelligence outputs including forecasts, variance analysis, scorecards, and AI-generated insights;
  • Deliver the platform services described in the Subscriber Agreement.

Financial data is never used for advertising, third-party marketing, benchmarking against other subscribers in identifiable form, or any purpose other than delivering the platform services to that Subscriber.

3.3 No Human Manipulation

Financiario's platform processes Subscriber financial data through automated infrastructure. No Financiario team member modifies, adjusts, or recategorizes Subscriber financial data to achieve a particular financial presentation or result. Outputs are derived directly from Subscriber-provided source data through automated processing.

3.4 Aggregated and Anonymized Data

Financiario may use anonymized, aggregated, non-identifiable data derived from platform usage for product development, benchmarking, and research. No Subscriber-identifiable financial information is used or disclosed in connection with such use.

04 AI Data Processing

The Financiario AI Copilot is an optional platform feature that uses a large language model (LLM) to process Subscriber queries and financial data to generate intelligent financial analysis and guidance.

When AI features are used, query inputs and relevant Subscriber data are transmitted to Anthropic's API (the underlying LLM provider) for processing. While Financiario applies access controls, data minimization practices, and tenant isolation, the nature of LLM technology requires that data submitted through AI queries be processed by the underlying model infrastructure.

Financiario does not use Subscriber data to train, fine-tune, or otherwise improve any AI model. AI processing is governed by Anthropic's data handling and usage policies in effect at the time of processing, available at anthropic.com. Subscribers should not submit data subject to heightened regulatory protection — including HIPAA-protected health information or payment card data — through AI query inputs.

05 How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Platform and its features;
  • Process payments and manage your subscription account;
  • Send transactional communications (order confirmations, account notices, service updates, platform delivery notifications);
  • Send marketing and promotional communications (with your consent where required by law);
  • Personalize your experience on the Platform;
  • Analyze Platform usage and improve performance and reliability;
  • Protect against fraud, unauthorized access, and security threats;
  • Comply with legal and contractual obligations.

06 Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies (pixels, web beacons) to analyze traffic, personalize content, and measure the effectiveness of our marketing. We use Google Analytics and may use Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, and similar analytics tools. See google.com/policies/privacy/partners to opt out of Google Analytics.

Do Not Track: Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. We currently do not alter our data practices in response to DNT signals. You may disable cookies in your browser settings; note that some Platform features may not function properly if cookies are disabled.

07 How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or financial data to third-party marketers. We may share your information:

  • With service providers and sub-processors who assist us in operating the Platform — subject to data processing agreements and confidentiality obligations (see Section 8);
  • As required by law, legal process, or government authority;
  • To protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others;
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all assets — personal information and financial data may be among the transferred assets, subject to the same privacy commitments in this Policy.

SMS / Mobile: No mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data will be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

08 Third-Party Processors

We use the following third-party service providers to operate the Platform. Each is engaged under a data processing agreement or equivalent contractual terms:

09 Data Retention

We retain personal information and financial data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Subscriber financial data is retained during the active subscription term. Upon cancellation, Subscriber retains permanent access to a static historical financial model reflecting data through the most recent completed month-end; live platform data is removed at the close of the cancellation notice period. You may request deletion of your personal data subject to applicable legal exceptions (see Section 11).

10 Security

Financiario operates entirely within the Microsoft Azure cloud environment, which maintains SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certifications at the infrastructure level. All Subscriber data is protected by:

  • AES-256 encryption at rest;
  • TLS 1.2 or higher encryption in transit;
  • Role-based access controls (RBAC);
  • User-level authentication with secure session management and access logging;
  • Tenant isolation for multi-subscriber environments.

No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
